Hi, I’m Andrea

Fancy seeing you here. *cue long story about how I love travel and how it completes me yadda yadda*

Don’t worry, I’ll keep it short and sweet! I’m Andrea, a Filipina born and raised in Sydney with a penchant for taking a million photos and writing about all the places I visit.

Growing up, I wanted to write historical novels before deciding to do a postgraduate course in museum studies. Whilst my ambitions have changed and I’m now working in the humanitarian sector, one thing remains the same - enchanting places with a bit of history are my jam! Expect to see lots of posts of old charming locations, visits to art galleries and some delicious food haunts.

What excites me most about travel are the stories about far-off, real places. It’s magical discovering untold gems around the world, some even closer to home, and meeting people with such different, vibrant lives. There’s nothing I love more than taking my camera gear (and fiancee) and capturing snapshots of the beautiful moments that can happen when you least expect it.

I’m always excited for a new adventure and have been fortunate enough to visit these places so far: China, Indonesia, Hong Kong, the Philippines, England, Scotland, Ireland, Belgium, France, New Zealand, Singapore and the USA. My fiancé and I are planning a Eurasia trip in 2024 and here's to many more domestic trips in Australia!
